No, our tabs don't completely dissolve pet hair, but they help loosen hair that is stuck in the washer. They contain proteins to dissolve hair, but we have intentionally not made them too strong to ensure there is zero damage to the washing machine itself.
Do these have a fragrance?

Shouldn't the machine just clean itself with detergent? Why do we need this?

Where do I put the tablet?
The tablet should be placed directly into the drum. Do not put the tablet in the detergent dispenser tray.
How often do I use the tablets?
We recommend cleaning every 2–3 days, or whenever you notice musty odors.
Will this work with my washing machine?
Yes, Posiyo Washing Machine Cleaner is compatible with all washing machines, including High Efficiency (HE), front-load, top-load, stainless-steel interior, and white interior machines.
How do you use the product?
1. Ensure that the washing machine is completely empty.
2. Put one tablet directly into the washing machine drum. Do not put it in the detergent compartment.
3. Run a “Normal / Hot Water” or “Clean Washer” cycle.
4. After the cycle, wipe away any leftover residue.
